Many of the health and welfare inquiry message boards are starting to fill with queries about damage to property. To help keep those services focussed on reuniting families I've setup these pages to catalog property damage. If you have information contribute, please email it to andy@andy.net. Feel free to mail me about adding missing properties. DO NOT MAIL ME ASKING IF I HAVE MORE INFORMATION ABOUT A PROPERTY!!! I post everything I get as quickly as I can. Asking for more detail simply slows me down and wastes time.
PLEASE NOTE: Almost all of the data on this site is coming via email and internet message boards. Very little of the information has been confirmed and all reports are subjective and based on individuals' perceptions.
I assume most people are coming to this site from either:
Storm Carib or the
Yahoo Group
Both are excellent resources, but to make it easier for people to find friends and family members on those sites, please do not post inquiries about property damage to either site. All information on this site is updated as often as possible.
(A few folks have mailed me thinking I was in Cayman and wondering how I was getting around, had internet access, etc... So there is no confusion, I'm in Atlanta, GA and rely on what I can find on message boards and updates people email to me -Andy)
Bandwidth for this site provided by LinkAmerica, based in Georgia. For what it is worth, they happen to specialize in websites for rental properties (mostly cabins in North Georgia and Western North Carolina) and could probably help out anybody looking to create a site for their rental property.
